Join us March 7th-10th, 2024 for the First Tampa International Book Fair!

YBORIN

Yborin is the children’s and youth pavilion of the book fair, whose function is to foster the relationship of children and young people with the book as an object, learning to read images and illustrations and familiarization with the different types of texts aimed at children. It also seeks to reinforce reading habits, promoting a relationship of affection and enjoyment with books appropriate for each age.

The Children’s Pavilion of the International Book Fair (IBF), Yborin, is a space for promoting reading aimed at children and youth, for editorial dissemination, and a meeting forum with prominent authors, specialists, and those interested in children’s and youth literature.

Starting with its first edition in March 2024, the IBF will offer a commercial space that brings together both independent publishers and large publishing houses, with an extensive program of activities that includes workshops to promote reading in children and young people, stage shows (theater, clowns, dance, puppets, etc.) storytelling, music, exhibitions and talks with writers and illustrators. In this way, the activities to raise awareness about reading, editorial promotion, and cultural and artistic activities are framed in a playful format inviting attendees to interact.
